Systems for industrial wastewater treatment
Industrial wastewater has very different treatment requirements depending on its origin, composition and quantity. As a solution provider, KMU LOFT Cleanwater develops systems for industrial wastewater treatment that are precisely tailored to your process water.
This allows you to transform the cost factor of wastewater into a reusable resource and reduce disposal volumes by up to 90 %. Economical treatment is possible even for highly fluctuating wastewater and demanding limit values.

The KMU LOFT solution principle: How your treatment system is created
The starting point for every KMU LOFT solution is the wastewater in question and the question: What needs to be done with the water chemically?
Based on a detailed water analysis, your objective - disposal, discharge or reuse - and the legal limits to be complied with, we develop the appropriate process chains for treating your wastewater.
The focus here is on vacuum evaporation with MVR technology as a particularly robust and widely applicable process. It is supplemented by needs-based chemical and physical pre- and post-treatment processes such as solids separation, filtration or flocculation. This results in individually designed treatment systems that are technically reliable, economically viable and precisely tailored to the respective task.

Wastewater management with measurable benefits: Your advantages at a glance
Today, industrial wastewater treatment is much more than just a question of disposal. Properly designed, it reduces operating costs, creates independence from external resources and increases process reliability. The following benefits show the added value that modern treatment systems offer industrial companies.
You reduce your costs
Fresh water, energy consumption, waste disposal—all items that you can drastically reduce with an MVR treatment system. Overall, cost savings of up to 85% are possible.
Your wastewater becomes reusable
Up to 99% of the wastewater fed into the system can be recovered. The distillate can be reused in numerous industrial and production processes.
Your company operates in a legally compliant and sustainable manner
Environmental regulatory limits such as pH value, COD, conductivity, or TOC are reliably complied with. Discharge and reuse are therefore possible without any problems.
Process reliability for your business
With only about 15-30 minutes of operation and maintenance per day, as well as the option of remote maintenance and optimization, your treatment system remains available almost around the clock. In addition, our systems have an above-average service life thanks to extremely robust components.
Wastewater expertise from numerous industries
Wastewater is produced in numerous industries and contains dissolved salts, oils and greases, solids and other organic pollutants. In 30 years of company history, we have already treated thousands of different wastewater streams and thus accumulated experience and data from over 20 branches of industry. The resulting process engineering know-how enables us to competently evaluate new tasks and develop suitable treatment systems.
Why vacuum distillation is the best choice for many industrial wastewaters
Various processes have proven themselves in industrial wastewater treatment, which can be used sensibly depending on the composition of the wastewater, the objective and the boundary conditions. Mechanical processes such as filtration or membrane systems, for example, are suitable for large quantities of water with clearly definable solids content, but often generate high residue quantities and corresponding disposal costs. Chemical-physical processes enable the treatment of heavily contaminated wastewater, but require the continuous use of chemicals, cause high operating costs and often lead to fluctuating effluent quality.
Physical processes such as vacuum distillation take a different approach: water is evaporated at low temperatures under reduced pressure and separated from dissolved substances. KMU LOFT Cleanwater relies on MVR technology (mechanical vapor recompression) as a particularly energy-efficient form of vacuum evaporation. It is suitable for a wide range of industrial wastewater - even with fluctuating compositions - and enables a very high distillate quality with minimal residue quantities.
MVR vacuum evaporation is therefore an economically attractive solution for many industrial applications: Operating costs can be significantly reduced, water can be reused and, in many cases, virtually wastewater-free production can even be achieved. Despite higher investment costs, such systems often pay for themselves within a few years through savings in fresh water, energy and disposal.
